RPM Air-Gap 302 Intake Manifold (non-EGR) - Satin
RPM Air-Gap intake manifold is designed for street 289 302-347 c.i.d. Ford V8 applications. The Air-Gap trade; design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. Includes nitrous bosses. No provision for exhaust heated chokes and no exhaust crossover. Edelbrock carbs will work with Ford automatic overdrive trans (AOD) when used with Lokar bracket SRK-4000. INSTALLATION NOTES: bull; Will not fit 255 c.i.d. V8 bull; Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock # 7220 bull; Manifold Height: A-4.30", B-5.50" bull; Carb pad height: 4.90" bull; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 600-800 cfm. For automatic transmissions use # 1483 and # 1490 or # 1844. bull; Port exit dimensions: 1.04" x 1.85" bull; Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. bull; Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
