The ends of this Borgeson Universal u-joint are 3/4"-36 spline x 3/4" DD.  It is machined on state of the are CNC equipment from steel.  Borgeson needle bearing joints have the distinct advantage of lasting as much as 10 times longer than non-needle bearing joints.  These needle bearing joints have no backlash or radial play.  They are permanently lubricated and sealed.

The 16 Series steel u-joints from Borgeson are tough and reliable.  Similar to OEM automotive and truck u-joints, the staked needle bearing caps prevent loosening and adjustment malfunction.  The angle of deflection in the 16 Series u-joint has been increased to 35 degrees, eliminating the need for a third u-joint in some applications.
